Colby College Museum of Art receives grant from Henry Luce Foundation

A one-year $150,000 grant from the Henry Luce Foundation will support the upcoming exhibition and catalogue, No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki, co-curated by Dr. Melissa Walt, Faculty Fellow in Art, and Ankeney Weitz, Ellerton M. and Edith K. Jette Professor of Art.

The Luce Foundation’s Asia Program is committed to developing and expanding teaching and research within the field of Asian studies, including in this case, a focus on making the work of Asian artists accessible to American audiences.

The exhibition will open at Asia Society Museum in New York City on September 9, 2016, where it will be on view until January 8, 2017. It will then come to the Colby College Museum of Art from February 4 through June 4, 2017.
