Mitchell wins grant to study petroglyph sites in Arizona

In December 2014, Associate Professor of Art Garry Mitchell, supported by a Colby Humanities Division Grant, will spend two weeks in Northern and Southern Arizona. There he will be exploring petroglyph sites for a research project titled “Signs and Symbols of the Anasazi: Rock Art, or Ancient Graffiti?”
