Sheehan speaks in Bryn Mawr Colloquium in Visual Culture

On January 27, 2016, Tanya Sheehan (Associate Professor and Chair, Art) will speak in the Bryn Mawr College Colloquium in Visual Culture. Her lecture, titled “Changing the Joke: Racial Humor and American Vernacular Photography,” will examine the cultural work that amateur comic photographs performed in Progressive-Era United States.
