WATERVILLE, Maine --- Brittany Chadbourne, a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut, will be the new assistant coach for the Colby College field hockey team for the upcoming season.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College sophomore Meryl Poulin (St. Mark’s School/Cape Elizabeth, Maine) was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Field Hockey All-Conference team Wednesday.

MEDFORD, Mass. --- The Colby College field hockey team played unbeaten Tufts University tough for a half for the second time this season, but the Jumbos pulled away for a 5-1 victory in a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Sunday.

LEWISTON, Maine --- The Colby College field hockey team lost a tough 3-2 overtime game to Bates College on Friday, but the Mules are still headed to the New England Small College Athletic Conference playoffs.

 

Bowdoin field hockey defeats Colby (10/25/2008)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College managed to score just the fifth goal of the season on Bowdoin College, but the Polar Bears received four goals and one assist from Lindsay McNamara in an 8-1 field hockey win at Billn Alfond Field on Saturday.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Meera Sivalingam (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored with 17:58 left in the game and Williams College was able to hang on for a 2-1 win against Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference field hockey Sunday at Bill Alfond Field.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Amy Campbell (North Andover, Mass.) scored with just 1:33 left in the opening overtime session as the Colby College field hockey team took a key 2-1 victory over Connecticut College at Bill Alfond Field.

Field hockey falls in overtime to Monks (10/16/2008)
STANDISH, Maine --- Amy Campbell scored a pair of goals for the Colby College field hockey team only to see St. Joseph’s College tie the game in the final five minutes of regulation and then go on and score in the second overtime in a 3-2 non-conference victory on Thursday.

Field hockey drops league game to Amherst (10/11/2008)
AMHERST, Mass. --- Meryl Poulin scored the lone goal of the day for the Colby College field hockey team, but it was not enough as Amherst College took a 2-0 halftime lead on the way to a 3-1 victory in NESCAC play Saturday.

Field hockey team edges Wesleyan, 2-1 (10/04/2008)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Frazer Humes (Greenwood Village, Colo.) scored on a penalty corner about eight minutes into the second half and the Colby College field hockey team kept Wesleyan University off the scoreboard the rest of the way in a 2-1 victory in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday at Bill Alfond Field.
