Providence graduate Hudson named new assistant field hockey coach (07/18/2011)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Ashlyn Hudson (Stoughton/Stoughton, Mass.) has been named as the new assistant field hockey coach at Colby College under head coach Tina Cormier.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Tina Cormier helped Providence College field hockey head coach Diane Madl turn the Friars into one of the top teams in the Big East Conference over the past nine years. She will now get her chance at helping out the Colby College field hockey team as the eighth head coach in the program's history.

BIDDEFORD, Maine --- Meryl Poulin scored her 20th career goal and Liz Fontaine earned the shutout for Colby College in a 1-0 non-conference field hockey victory over University of New England on Wednesday.

AMHERST, Mass. --- Colby College goaltender Michelle Burt made six saves in the second half and allowed no goals, but Amherst College did the damage in the first half in a 5-0 NESCAC win Saturday.
