2012 season highlights: Kate, a captain, had one goal and one assist. She earned Colby's Millett Award for female athlete who has contributed most to Colby athletics. Kate also earned the team's Coaches Award. 2011 season highlights: Pistel, a three-sport athlete at Colby, started all 14 games on defense. 2010 season highlights: Kate finished with one goal and two assists. She had the assist on the overtime goal in a 4-3 win over rival Bates. 2009 season highlights: Pistel was tied for the team lead in scoring with two goals and two assists for six points. She scored her first collegiate goal in an easy win over Southern Maine and then had the lone goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Husson. At Colby: Kate majored in Human Development...three-time All-American for Colby lacrosse and four-time All-NESCAC honors for Colby squash...Amherst College Summer Programs assistant during the summer months...internship at Williston Northampton School in alumni development.  Before Colby: Played soccer, squash, and lacrosse at Suffield Academy...earned all-state for soccer in 2007 and 2008... Honorable Mention All-American for lacrosse in 2008...New England Class B Squash Champion in 2008... earned Suffield's Math Award in 2005 and 2006.
