Women's 4 and 8 crews both take 18th

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Colby College women's varsity 8 took 18th place out of 29 boats at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday.
 
The Mules finished in a time of 17 minutes, 4.469 seconds. Holy Cross won the event in 15:29.658. The Colby 'B' boat also competed.
 
The women's varsity 8 boat was made up of: Molly Colman (coxswain), Becca Herman, Justine Seraganian, Annalisa Tester, Olivia Collins, Jessie Lunde, Molly Clark, Megan Cullinane, and Astrid Moore. The 'B' boat included: Karunya Nathan (coxswain), Katrina Chicojay Moore, Anna Spencer, Leigh Mathieu, Alison Grover, Sophie Suechting, Mackenzie Kennedy, Sara Lederer, Sarah Lane-Reticker.
 
Colby's 4 boat also took 18th place in a time of 20:11.918. Eliza Gesten (coxswain), Taylor Schlichting, Kara Witherill, Gaby Carpenter, and Danielle Anderson competed for the Mules.
 
The Colby women go the Head of the Charles Regatta next Saturday and Sunday.
