WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's hockey program will celebrate 40 years of play on Friday and Saturday, with some alums coming back from the 1972-73 squad.
The weekend is centered around the current Mules playing two games against Williams College. Colby plays host to the Ephs at 7 p.m. Friday at Alfond Rink and then again Saturday at 3 p.m.
There will be an alumnae game Saturday at 10:15 a.m., a tailgate from noon to 3 p.m., the game between Colby and Williams at 3 p.m. (ceremonial face-off), and then a dinner for alums, the current team, family, and friends at the Parker-Reed Room at 5:30 p.m. Registration was required for the dinner. Speakers include Susie Hoeller ‘73, Colette Finley ‘09, and current Colby head coach David Venditti. Mallory Young, Colby's current assistant coach and a 2005 graduate, will be the master of ceremonies for the dinner.
