WATERVILLE, Maine --- Lexi Crook (South Burlington, Vt.) and Kate Pistel (Amherst, Mass.) each were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-American Second Team.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's lacrosse team had four players – Lexi Crook (South Burlington, Vt.), Kate Pistel (Amherst, Mass.), Lindsey McKenna (Fairfield, Conn.), and Mary Cummings (Summit, N.J.) – named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Pilgrim Region team Friday.

CORTLAND, N.Y. --- The road to the NCAA Division III Tournament Final Four was halted for a second straight year in a national quarterfinal for the Colby College women's lacrosse team. The eighth-ranked Mules, who end their season at 15-5 overall, fell behind early for the second day in a row in a 15-4 loss to fourth-ranked Cortland State on Sunday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE BACK IN NCAA QUARTERFINALS AFTER STUNNING WIN (05/14/2011)
CORTLAND, N.Y. --- The Colby College women's lacrosse team is headed back to the NCAA Division III Tournament quarterfinals for the second straight year after scoring the final four goals of the game, including the game-winning tally by Tess Petesch with 13 seconds remaining, in a wild 6-5 victory over Hamilton College on Saturday at Cortland State.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's lacrosse team heads back to New York for the second straight year for an NCAA Division III Tournament Regional when the Mules travel to Cortland State for a 2:30 p.m. game with Hamilton College on Saturday in a second round game.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Sophomore midfielder Kate Pistel (Amherst, Mass.) and senior defender Lexi Crook (South Burlington, Vt.) were both named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse All-League First Team and first-year Lindsey McKenna (Fairfield, Conn.) was honored as Rookie of the Year on Wednesday.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- After a slow start and falling behind 1-0, the eighth-ranked Colby College women's lacrosse team exploded for 10 goals in the final 21:15 of the opening half on the way to a 17-4 win over Norwich University in a first round game in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Wednesday at Bill Alfond Field.
