The Colby Muslim group is a student organization that brings together Muslim students on the Colby campus and organizes religious and social activities for its members and the campus community. The group also aims at informing the Colby student body about the religion of Islam and clarifying all stereotypes and misconceptions related to it. Joining the group is open to all non-Muslims with no restrictions. The group maintains a permanent office room in the Pugh Center that is used for prayers, meetings and socialization. The room also contains an extensive library of books and videos about Islam that is accessible to the community. Jummah (Friday prayers) are held for Dhuhr prayer in the Rose room located in the Chapel.
