2018 January Course Design Institute

The Academic Collaborative – Academic ITS, Advising Deans, Colby Writing Program, Center for Teaching & Learning, and Research & Instruction Librarians – invites your participation in the January Course Design Institute.

The January Course Design Institute is three-day institute where participants design or redesign a portion of a course using evidence-based course design principles to enhance student learning. Specifically, participants will focus on connecting course learning outcomes with assessments and teaching strategies. The Course Design Institute strives to expand participants’ pedagogical content knowledge and develop relationships that enhance teaching through collaborative exercises and small team learning experiences. Methods used during the institute can be applied to other courses or course units.

Dates: January 23, 24, and 25

Times: 9AM – 4PM (Coffee, Lunch, and Snacks Provided)
