CTL Advisory Board Nominations – Fall 2019
The Center for Teaching and Learning welcomes self-nominations for the CTL Faculty Advisory Board. The Advisory Board ensures that the work of the CTL meaningfully connects with Colby faculty and students. The newly configured CTL Faculty Advisory Board will be selected by the Vice Provost of Faculty Development and Diversity (Carleen Mandolfo) and will meet bi-monthly beginning in the Fall of 2019. The goal of the advisory board is to work with the CTL director to explore ways the CTL can achieve its mission, review assessment/research results, discuss issues emanating from the faculty that can inform the work of the CTL, and participate in strategic planning activities. The CTL Faculty Advisory Board will also work with the CTL director to develop teaching and learning resources for the Colby Academic Community (e.g., guides to inclusive teaching, team learning, learner-centered teaching).
Send your nomination to Carol Hurney ([email protected]) by Friday April 26. Indicate you interest in this work.
