Course Design Institute Aug 21, 22, & 23

The August Course Design Institute is a three-day institute where participants design a portion of a course using evidence-based course design principles to enhance student learning. Specifically, participants will focus on connecting course learning outcomes with assessments and teaching strategies. The Course Design Institute strives to expand participants’ pedagogical content knowledge and develop relationships that enhance teaching through collaborative exercises and small team learning experiences. Methods used in during the institute can be applied to other courses or course units.
