Managing Student Expectations About Your Courses (Roundtable)- February 6
Thursday, February 6, 8 – 9:30 a.m. (Bullock Room, Dana Dining) or Thursday, February 6, 12 – 1:30 p.m. Foss Dining Hall (Private Dining Room)
Students often bring to our classes a mindset about the course content, structure, and/or teaching strategies that they will encounter. What happens when these expectations do not match what you have planned? During this roundtable, we will explore ways to productively expand the ways students think and experience the unexpected aspects of our courses.
