The Meaning of Course Grades (Workshop) – 12/6 or 12/8
The focus on grading and calculating course grades is a regular phenomenon on college campuses during this time of the semester. As we enter the season of grades on Mayflower Hill, take a moment to workshop with some of your colleagues the meaning of grades in your courses. In particular, this workshop will examine what course grades should mean and how some cognition-based frameworks can help define levels of learning that can be tied to how you determine course grades. Bring your syllabus and a colleague along, the more the merrier!
