Evaluation of Electrospray Mass Spectrometry in Organic Chemistry
Thank you very much for taking the time to help us assess your experience in the Organic Chemistry Laboratory. This survey covers the use of our new electrospray mass spectrometer. The class responses will be reported to the National Science Foundation to help determine the success of our program. This assessment will help us to obtain additional funding for future improvements.

Please indicate the extent of your agreement with the following statements

1. The use of advanced instrumentation made the lab more interesting:
Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree

2. The use of advanced instrumentation made Organic Chemistry seem more useful and pertinent to my personal goals:
Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree

3. The use of advanced instrumentation, like our mass spectrometer, helps to encourage me to take additional chemistry courses:
Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree

4. The opportunity to use electrospray mass spectrometry in Organic Chemistry will make it more likely that I will try to use advanced instrumentation in other courses and in undergraduate research projects later in my Colby career:
Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree

5. The solid phase, resin bound synthesis of the dipeptide was interesting. I liked this synthesis experiment:
