FlagsTwo Colby alumni were tangled up in the expulsion of ambassadors by Latin American governments in September. When Venezuela’s President Hugo Chávez ordered U.S. Ambassador Patrick Duddy ’72 out of the country, U.S. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack ’86 stated, “Our officials, including Ambassador Duddy, are going to continue to speak out on the state of U.S.-Venezuelan relations.”
