How do I view the Colby College staff directory?

How do I update my directory profile?
By default, every staff/faculty profile contains the most current data from Workday. This information is updated daily. This information, as well as optional biographical information may be changed using the Directory Profile Update Form: https://www.colby.edu/directory-profile-update-form/
Note: Any previously added profile content prior to October 1st 2022, has been retained.
Before submitting changes to your directory profile with the form, please consider the following:
- Verify that the information you are changing or adding is accurate and devoid of spelling errors.
- Leaving fields blank will not erase current content from your profile.
- All changes submitted will completely replace current information. All changes are final!
- To avoid permanently losing biographical information, save your current content elsewhere in case you make a mistake or need to make additions in the future.
How do I find my employee ID and email in Workday?

In order to modify your directory profile, you will need verify your employee ID number and your email address in Workday.
From the Workday menu, navigate to Personal Information > About me > Summary
You will find your employee ID number and the Colby email address listed under ‘Job Details‘.
Note: If you are receiving an error when submitting the form, you may be using the incorrect Colby email address associated with your Workday profile. For some people, the email address required may be the long form email address: [email protected].
How do I remove information from my directory profile?

You can remove certain fields from your directory profile by selecting the ‘remove’ checkbox associated with the field you want to remove. Upon submitting the form, the selected fields will be cleared out and hidden from your directory profile.
How do I remove or update my profile headshot photo?

Removing a Photo
To remove your directory profile headshot photo completely, select the ‘Delete Current Photo’ option in the Directory Profile Update Form. Upon submission, the image will also be permanently deleted from the media library.

Updating a Photo
You can upload a new headshot photo by selecting the ‘Upload a New Photo’ option in the Directory Profile Update Form. The photo you submit will be uploaded to the media library and replace the current photo in your directory profile.
To upload a profile photo at the correct dimensions, you can use our Directory Image Optimizer tool. Just supply the image and click “Download.” If your image is large, greater than 300kb, for example, you can use the quality slider to make it smaller in filesize.
