Charles D’Ambrosio is the recipient of a Whiting Award and a Lannan Fellowship, and is the author of two collections of essays, Loitering and Orphans, and of two collections of short stories, The Point and The Dead Fish Museum, which was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award. He teaches in the MFA Program at the Iowa Writers Workshop at the University of Iowa.
