ES Program Hires Teaching Assistant

The Environmental Studies program is pleased to welcome Abby Pearson as our teaching assistant.  Abby is completing her M.S. in Biology at the University of Southern Maine where her research focused on assessing ecosystem functionality in restoring a salt marsh using arthropod food webs.  Her research involves describing arthropod distribution in an affected salt marsh in relation to associated common salt marsh plants.   Abby has been an instructor in the Department of Environmental Science at USM, in addition to working in various lab and field settings.
