Two ES students receive funding from Projects for Peace

Sara LoTemplio ’16 and Eda Reed ’16 with funding from a Projects for Peace Awardconducted environmental education in some of the local schools in Chiquilistagua, Nicaragua during the period June 7-20th. They will also be providing water filters to some of the villagers and trying to engaging some of the high school students in the training process. They also plan to create a framework for other projects (e.g., solar stoves, latrine projects).
