Abstract: We all know that climate change has profound implications on wildlife, ecosystems and ecosystem services that people rely on for their well-being. But far too often we view climate change as a slow-moving problem that can wait until the future. How much time do we really have? What will happen if we wait too long? And are universities preparing students for a different kind of future where careers in conservation and natural resource management will require new ways of thinking and problem solving? Climate change is here. It’s not going away. And you need to be prepared.
