Please join us for an encouraging discussion of how a small group of impassioned nature conservationists fought and changed the course of bird extinction and bird decimation. We will briefly explore the modern-day landscape and discuss how to empower ourselves to make a difference. Eddie Woodin, Colby Class of 1969, is an avid collector of bird art and associated materials. His vast collection received a Collecting Works on Paper Award from Historic New England in 2017.
A reception starts at 3:15, followed by the 4 p.m. program. Selected items from Woodin’s collection will be on view.
