On Sunday April 6, 2008, a panel titled “The Conflict Between Protected Civil Liberties and Government Intrusion in a Time of Terrorist Threats” was held by the Goldfarb center in conjunction with The Brody Award ceremonies. Panelists are ABC News Legal Correspondent Jan Crawford Greenburg, University of Maine Professor James Friedman, and U.S. District Court Judge for the Central District of California Margaret Morrow. Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine George Z. Singal will moderate.
