ADM-Recruit.and Selection Intern
Department:   Admissions - Financial Aid Level:   III

Admissions Recruitment and Selection Interns will provide major support for admissions office programming and events by coordinating with outside vendors and other offices on campus. They will be responsible for recruiting student hosts for the Admitted Students Program, Admission Open Houses, and overnight programs. Interns will provide general event support initially, and be expected to increase their workload as events draw closer. Recruitment and Selection Interns will also provide general office support and must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates must have extremely strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail is critical and experience working with and leading student groups is preferred. Candidates should have a wide range of academic and student life experiences, be knowledgeable of Colby's initiatives, and be understanding of the value of a diverse, inclusive, and accessible community. Interns must be able to work well with current students, communicate professionally with prospective students, parents, and school counselors. The student must be comfortable speaking in front of both large and small groups of people. The ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality with high integrity at all times is essential.
