I have overall leadership responsibility for all areas of the three Colby libraries, a staff of 14 librarians, 15 staff, and 100+ student staff and a budget of $5 million dollars annually. I work closely with the Leadership Team of six Assistant Directors in facilities planning and management, strategic planning, assessment, and innovation, and developing proposals for new initiatives, services, and process improvements that advance the library’s mission and vision in support of the mission of the college. I work closely with strategic collections partners (Bates and Bowdoin Colleges) and other libraries in Maine and New England in developing statewide and regional programs and resource sharing.
