The Colby Libraries recently unveiled an exhibit celebrating the craft of print, which contains a number of printmaking tools and presses, as well as large and small examples of printed documents and artwork.

Before the invention of word processors and inexpensive office printers, a printed document was something that required time and patience to make. Like painters before the invention of the camera and drafters before AutoCAD, printmakers were truly artists in their own right.
