The Language Resource Center (LRC) is located in Lovejoy 404, connected to the Instructional Media Center (Lovejoy 406). We provide a wide range of technology-enhanced services and resources designed to enrich learning and promote innovative teaching.
About
The Language Resource Center (LRC) at Colby College is a dynamic and collaborative learning environment that supports the learning, teaching and research of languages, literature, film, media, and culture. Faculty can reserve our language lab, audio recording studio, and video production studio, and access a variety of learning applications and equipment to support their courses.
We also offer media and instructional support services, including large-format poster printing, large-format document and image scanning, multimedia production assistance, and digital resource support for faculty and students.
Whether you are teaching, learning, creating, or collaborating, the LRC is here to help you explore new possibilities.

Visit our poster printing site and fill in a request form to queue your poster for printing.

The LRC offers Rosetta Stone courses in languages NOT offered by Colby if students wish to pursue self-learning. Check this page and contact Qiuli Wang for more information.
Besides poster printing, the LRC offers conversion of VHS and audio tapes to digital/DVD formats. Ask Qiuli Wang or a lab assistant for inquiries. You can check this page.
