The Colby Language Resource Center (LRC) is a dynamic and flexible learning space. We provide a wide range of multimedia technologies and traditional resources to enhance and promote the study of foreign language, literature, film, media, and culture. Faculty are able to reserve the lab, and students can use our learning application and devices. In addition, we offer large format poster printing.

  • Antidote 10
    • A language tool for French writing. It includes an advanced grammar checker with smart filters, a dictionary, and a sophisticated thesaurus.
  • NJ Start
    • A language tool for Chinese studies.
  • ScreenFlow
    • Let you record any part of your desktop of your computer while also capturing your video camera, iOS device, microphone, multi-channel audio device and your computer audio. You can use ScreenFlow to record, make a tutorials, or rich-media presentations.
  • Handbrake
    • It is a tool to rip a DVD to MP4 format.
