Paul A. Wescott ’53, Aug. 13, 2013, in Scarborough, Maine, at 81. A graduate of NYU Law School, where he was an editor of the law review, he practiced law in New York, Pittsburgh, and Portland, Maine. In a second career he was CEO of Howell Laboratories in Bridgton, Maine, from 1977 to 2011. He was a trustee at the University of New England, which awarded him an honorary doctor of laws degree. Predeceased by former spouse Eloise Larned Petrik ’55 and a granddaughter, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Peggy, three sons, a daughter, three stepdaughters, a stepson, and 14 grandchildren.
