Dec. 28, 2012, in Burlington, Vt., at 88. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked for Weber and Erickson Architects in Rutland, Vt., before moving to Burlington in 1959 to begin his 27-year career with General Electric as a plant engineer designer. He enjoyed fishing, jewelry design, and building design, but his passion was furniture carpentry. Predeceased by his wife, Patricia, he is survived by two daughters and two sons.
