Please note: Due to the increase in Covid-19 transmissions, this month’s program will be held virtually via Zoom. To receive the link to join this free program and learn about the materials you will need to pick up at the museum, please register here.

If you are having problems or have questions, please email Kris Bergquist or call 207.859.5609.

Experience greater mind-body connection through our Artful Meditation and Expression program. Participants will join art therapist Bodhi Simpson in a guided meditation session followed by an art making experience. This offering will support your personal comfort with creative expression, increase self-awareness, and offer simple tools to support emotional wellbeing.

In February, our theme of Let’s Keep Going is inspired by Hurdling: Green by Reggie Burrows Hodges.

Artful Meditation and Expression is part of the museum’s wellness initiative, Let Art Inspire, which includes a variety of programs that connect mind, body, and art in innovative ways.

Bodhi Simpson, LCPC, ATR, is an art therapist with a private practice in Waterville, Maine, called Conscious Art Therapy. She also is a teaching artist, an adjunct college instructor, and a workshop and retreat facilitator who incorporates creative expression and work with imagination, intuition, and metaphor into the healing process.
