Colby students are invited to become part of the Student Guides program (formerly Student Docents) at the Colby College Museum of Art.
The first semester is a paid 10-week training program during which students prepare to research and learn about works of art in the Museum and use that information to create educational experiences in the galleries for campus and community audiences during the academic year.
This opportunity is open to second semester freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors and meets the civic engagement requirement for students living at Alfond Commons.
All positions for the Fall 2020 semester have been filled.
Questions can be directed to Kris Bergquist, Mirken Curator of Education and Engagement, firstname.lastname@example.org.
