Gallery Activities and Tours

Join us for in-person tours, led by a mix of community volunteer docents, staff, and student guides throughout the year. There also are an array of self-guided materials that can be used at any time during a museum visit—sketching materials, music playlists, looking guides, and Art-to-Go Bags for kids and families.

Art Break

Each Thursday, we spend 30 minutes looking at one work of art in the gallery spaces. The looking experiences are facilitated by Museum staff, docents, interns, student guides, and special guests.

Art + Cart Station

Visitors can stop by the Art + Cart Station in the lobby for resources to activate a Museum experience. There are sketching materials that can be used in the gallery spaces, looking activities, poetry writing prompts, and music playlists to add an aural dimension to your visit.

Saturday Spotlight Tour

Every Saturday, the Museum offers a guided tour that encourages visitors to take a spin around the Museum with one of our trained community volunteer docents to get a unique look at the permanent collection and insights into our temporary exhibitions.
