Colby College will hold its sixth annual Children’s Halloween Extravaganza on Sunday, October 26, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to all community children age 2 to 10 years old. Activities will include trick-or-treating, haunted houses, pumpkin decorating, face painting, cookie decorating, games, Halloween crafts and more. Children are encouraged to come in costume. Holiday refreshments will be served.

The Halloween activities will begin in the Page Commons Room of Cotter Union. Maps will be available in the Page Commons Room indicating other events in designated areas of certain residence halls. The event is organized by the Colby Volunteer Center as a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating on the streets. All children must be accompanied by an adult and must bring a bag to hold candy and crafts. For more information contact the Colby Volunteer Center at 207-872-3442.
