Colby will observe Earth Day 2010 with an expo in Pulver Pavilion, Cotter Union from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with about a dozen exhibitors. Organic seedlings from the COFGA garden will be sold. A 4 p.m. a bird walk in Perkins Arboretum will leave Pulver Pavilion. at 7:30 p.m. the film Tapped, about bottled water, will be screened in Arey 5.

Other Earth Week events have included the Clothesline Project, encouraging outdoor clothes drying instead of gas or electric clothes dryers; clean-up walks on area roadways; bicycle repair clinics; and speakers. There will be tours of the COFGA gardens on Runnals Hill Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the film Coal Country will be shown Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Arey 5.
