Dr. Dorothy Cotton, an activist who worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the civil rights movement, addressed a full house in Lorimer Chapel on Jan. 20 to commemorate King and his vision for the world. She shared with the Colby community vivid memories of injustice in the South, and more importantly, challenged her audience to look at the present, envision the world they would like to live in, and ask themselves if their actions embody that vision.
