When Professor of Government Laura Seay approvingly tweeted of Sonia Rolley, a journalist covering deaths of Rwandan dissidents, it prompted a response from a mysterious account named “@RichardGoldston.” The account’s offensive tweets encouraged another journalist to step in, creating back and forth dialogue until something strange happened: the account of Rwandan president Paul Kagame began tweeting in place of “Goldston,” raising suspicion about unauthorized Twitter accounts in the presidency and the  character of Kagame’s ghostwriter.
