Thomas Tessier ’10 is one of several millennials featured in the New York Times article “The Lives of Millennial Career Jugglers,” which profiles young people who choose to balance multiple jobs, often having one job that pays the bills and another that provides a more creative outlet.

Tessier is an admissions officer at Stanford University’s online high school, and he moonlights as a workout instructor at the San Francisco branch of Barry’s Bootcamp. “The standard question, ‘What do you want to do when you grow up?,’ it doesn’t exist anymore,” Tessier said. “As somebody whose job it is to ask people this, it’s like … there’s a million answers.”
