For her work on the politics of the Ebola crisis, Assistant Professor of Government Laura Seay appears in “The LSDP Top 100 Global Thinkers of 2014,” a list compiled by Italian think tank Lo Spazio della Politica. She ranks number 74 with fellow political scientist Kim Yi Dionne.

Seay also coauthored with Dionne the article “Perceptions about Ebola in America: Othering and the Role of Knowledge about Africa,” published in the January 2015 issue of PS: Political Science & Politics. Read the article on pages 6-7 of this document.
