Mina Amundsen, assistant vice president for facilities and campus planning, was featured in an Oct. 8 Morning Sentinel article about shepherding Colby’s on-campus growth and overseeing its “greener future.” Reporter Mary Pols asks Amundsen about the College’s new solar farm, the design and construction of the new athletic complex, and the creation of wet and upland meadows around the complex. “What we are doing is taking advantage of the landscape to tell the story of that water. If you capture the surface hydrology, you are allowing it to be in a more natural state,” Amundsen said.
