A solo exhibition by artist Jim Condron ’92, Diminishing Returns, is on view through March 25, 2018, at Goucher College’s Silber Art Gallery. “Through the paintings in this exhibition, Condron presents a haptic convergence of scale, size, color, texture, and dimensionality,” according to a press release from the college. reported on the exhibit, noting, “This exhibition incites viewers to examine the application of the economic principle of the law of diminishing returns to painting and art-making in the 21st century.” Artfix Daily Artwire also mentioned the exhibit, and ÆQAI published a review as well.

A panel discussion, “Diminishing Returns: A Discussion of the Economics of Art,” will be held at the gallery March 2 at 6 p.m. and will include Pugh Family Professor of Economics David Findlay via Skype.
