Rodwell Mabaera ’02, an assistant professor of medicine at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, was profiled in Dartmouth Medicine. Mabaera, M.D.-Ph.D., who studied math and chemistry at Colby, is now working to “understand how the immune system interacts with cancer cells in tumors,” the magazine reports. He’s also involved with issues relating to diversity and inclusion at Dartmouth. “When we are able to sit at the table and talk about what we have in common, as Americans and as humans, while respecting our differences,” says Mabaera, “that’s, I think, when we can move mountains.”
