Using Templates
Colby provides a number of templates using Colby’s Google Workspace.
IMPORTANT: To use a Google Workspace template, be sure you are logged into your Colby email, then open the file and save a copy on your drive for your individual use (File > Make a copy).
Letterhead
A master letterhead template is available as a Google Doc. To make your letterhead, save a copy of the Google Doc to your personal drive (File > Make a copy). Be sure print view is checked off on the Google Doc (View > Show print layout). Once you’ve customized your letterhead in your Google Doc, it can also be saved and downloaded as a Microsoft Word document or PDF (File > Download).
Poster and Design Templates
Members of the Colby community have full access to Adobe Creative Cloud (formerly known as Creative Suite). Creative Cloud is a library of apps to develop photo, design, and video projects. The Office of Communications supports ongoing usage of Adobe, and offers pre-designed templates within Adobe Express for wider accessibility and ease of use.
Presentations and Digital Signage
A gallery of templates for signage and presentations is available using Google Slides. You can find options for widescreen (16:9) presentations below.
