Work Order Requests
Instructions for Submitting Work Order Requests
- Go to the Facilities Services website.
- In the “Contact Us” box on the left side navigation, click “Submit A Work Order.”
- On the left side menu bar (blue bar), you will find the “Submit a Request” link. You will then be taken to the form to submit your request.
When using the form, please make sure to have your pop-up blocker disabled for this site. This will allow the form to help populate the desired information. Please note that you will need to be connected to Colby’s network in order to use the work order system.
- Under Location, select “Buildings-Main Campus” or other appropriate location.
- Under Building, select the building
- Under Room, select the room
- Please provide your name in the first box and your email in the last box under the Name/Phone/Email section
- Students do not need to fill out Account or Date/Time. Faculty and Staff are requested to put an account number for all non-routine maintenance requests in the event a supervisor deems a charge is necessary. Contact Facilities Services at 207-859-5000 if you have any questions regarding this.
- When completing the “Request” box, please be as specific as possible to share the concern and exact location. This way the correct member of Facilities can be assigned and dispatched to assist with your concern.
For urgent requests and need for immediate attention during the weekends or after hours, contact Security by calling 207-859-5530. From there, a member of Security will contact the Facilities On-Call Staff.
