Loan Disclosures
Colby participates in the Federal Student Loan Program and offers Federal Direct Subsidized, Federal Direct Unsubsidized and Federal Direct Parent PLUS loans. Information about Federal loans including Entrance and Exit Counseling, NSLDS, Loan Terms and Conditions and other information pertaining to Federal loans can be found in this section. Student Athletes
Colby participates in Federal Student Aid Programs and has a robust intercollegiate athletic program. The following report is furnished annually in compliance with the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act.

Student Right-to-Know
According to the Student Right-to-Know Act, colleges and universities that administer federal Title IV funds must disclose completion rates, graduation rates, and post-graduation graduation outcomes each year. Information about Colby’s outcomes can be found here.

Safety and Security Details
Clery Act Disclosures
Colby distributes campus security reports to its students and employees annually. The reports that are disseminated to the school community include descriptions of the school’s security policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the safety and well-being of our campus community. The Annual Security and Safety Report also includes crime statistics for reportable crimes that occurred on campus.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention
Colby provides information to prevent drug and alcohol abuse to its students, faculty, and employees annually. Information about Colby’s drug and alcohol prevention program, including standards of conduct, possible sanctions, availability of counseling and treatment programs, and health risks can be found here. Fire Safety
Colby distributes institutional fire safety policies and fire statistics each year to students and employees each year. This report contains policies and procedures about on-campus fire safety, including policies on portable electrical appliances, smoking, open flames in student housing, and evacuation procedures for students to follow in case of a fire. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of students’ education records.
