Medical Education Programs

Colby has hosted educational programs for the medical and allied health professions since 1945 and is the only private liberal arts college in the nation to offer Category 1 Credits™ for the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Each summer, our courses attract registrants from across the country, and this diverse geographic representation enhances the exchange of ideas that course participants value. Our friendly and courteous staff, small course size, accessible faculty, and timely topics make a CME program at Colby a quality experience.  Historically, the Maine Orthopedic Review and the New England Seminar in Forensic Sciences have offered CME credits to participants.
