Administrative Departments

The Vice President of Administration has overall responsible for the following major departments:

Dining Services Colby, together with Bon Appétit, the food contract service, offers its students an expansive choice of food service options to meet their diverse dietary choices.
Financial Planning The Office of Financial Planning and Assistant Vice President for Finance has overall responsibility for budget administration, including budget development, management, and reporting.
Financial Services Administrative Financial Services including Purchasing and Accounts Payable, the ColbyCard office, Student Financial Services, and Payroll make up the Office of Financial Services.
Facilities Facilities manages new construction and renovations, campus sustainability, operations and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, and power generation.
Information Technology Services Academic ITS, Administrative ITS, Media Resources, Network Services and Personnel Computing Support Services work together to provide an information technology environment that provides each student, faculty member, staff member and visitor the information technology access, resources and support that the Colby establishes as necessary to meets its mission.
Investment Office The Investment Office is responsible for the investment of the College’s endowment and working capital.
