Research Interests
My research focuses on the causes and consequences of political polarization and extremism. I'm especially interested in the ways (1) technology, (2) morality, and (3) emotion exacerbate political conflict, and how we can use education to improve political communication. I lead the Extremism and Polarization Lab, or ExPo Lab at Colby College.
Please visit the ExPo Lab website for more information about my research and publications.
