Katie Barlow

Personal Information

Katie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. She graduated from Washington and Lee University with a bachelor of arts in biology, and she has a master of arts in counseling psychology from Lesley University. She has counseled adults and adolescents in outpatient settings and medication assisted addiction treatment.

At Colby, Katie wears two hats. She provides alcohol and other drug counseling and support to students, and she is co-coordinator of Healthy Colby. In addition, Katie has an interest in quality improvement and accreditation work, with experience meeting state, federal, joint commission, and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care standards. She enjoys live music, hiking, and laughing with family and friends.
