Research Interests
We use the Drosophila model to address the following current research interests:
- Characterization of pharmacological and genetic modifiers of ethanol-induced behaviors.
- Effects of ethanol and mutations associated with neurodegenerative diseases on circadian rhythm.
- Characterization of mutations associated with frontotemporal dementia.
- Molecular genetics of autophagy and retinal degeneration.
